2026 Autumn Equinox Message from Cie

There are two ways to live in this world. One is believing in the appearance of things and being governed by that, and letting the wounds of the world bounce off our personal wounds to make us feel that is “reality.” The second way, which we are going to explore today is to let the pain and suffering we’ve experienced lead us into a more conscious way of living – making decisions about how we want our lives to be, and hanging only onto that, through thick and thin, continuously pivoting toward Love.

Even if we haven’t always received the love we desire, we can now choose that love for ourselves. In order to begin this new way of living, we have to see clearly what our payoff is for us being a victim. Or, we just have to decide to give ourselves what we didn’t receive from others in childhood or in previous relationships and stages of life.

So, let’s make a Blueprint: In the Spiritual, Mental/Emotional and Physical arenas, here’s how it would show up:
Spiritually: we set an ideal – what we aspire to be. Ask yourself who or what that would entail. Let us feed our soul’s passion. What did you love in childhood? What most excites and interests you?
Mentally/Emotionally: who we’ve decided to aspire to be trickles into attitudes. Like if we’ve taken Jesus or Love as our model ideal, then we might consider how we could be more loving in certain areas of our lives.
Physically how would that manifest? If love is our ideal, and we want to apply a loving spin on areas of our lives, what actions would be taken?
Self: What would your life look like if you were to give yourself the love you’ve always wanted?
Work: Create immediate, mid and long-range tangible goals based on your deepest purpose in life – even if what you do for a living isn’t yet connected to your reason for being on Earth at this time. You can still bring love, compassion, helpfulness, and encouragement to your place of work.
Relationships: Everyone has regrets in relationships, but what we can do in present time is be as standup as we can, stop doing harm, and make amends.

The next thing we can do is examine how we handle emotional pain, because how we have done that may be the source of how our lives have gotten off-track. Whether it be using drugs or alcohol, or taking it out on others, or refusing to even acknowledge we’re in pain, none of those things work to heal pain. If we sit with the pain and confront it squarely, it will move. Pain moves in waves. Whenever we are feeling it, we can take a timeout to be still and go physically into the space between our heart chakra and our thymus with our eyes closed. Envision a fountain of Love rising within, like you are your own best friend.

What do we know about God? What do we know about Love? What do we believe in?
Being in the present moment with the answers to those questions is the only thing that’s real.
The past is someone’s version of what happened. The future is a projection of our fears. Coming into our bodies in meditation and love, instead of trying to escape, is what will provide relief.
In these times of change, it’s no accident that we chose to be born in this difficult, tumultuous time that needs us to bring our special abilities and talents to this earth, so that a rise in all consciousness may occur. The key is how to make it work for ourselves and all other life. The key to our stability is to connect with that heart space inside ourselves in the present moment, whenever that is – because that’s our Higher Selves acting on our Ideal.

…Even if we’ve mistaken ourselves for the clouds in the sky. We are not the clouds, nor the rain. We are the sky itself. We are so vast, but we’ve forgotten what we were created to be. The part of us that is here now is only the size of our pinky. Like an iceberg, the part above water is unbelievably small compared to what we can’t see below the surface. Let us call upon our Higher Selves and the angels for answers. We cannot receive help until we ask for it, because we are meant to be Creators with free will choice, even if it might seem obvious to the Universe that we need help. It’s the great gift and the great curse!

Actually, because we are creators, we are Prophets, because everything we decide about our lives, and say about our lives, either is, or will become true. As soon as we put something out there, our sub-conscious says, “Oh okay, if _____ wants that, I’ll make it so. And then we keep creating the same thing over and over – mostly by default, when we’re not being conscious. So, let us watch our thought patterns and see the truth of that. If we examine our thoughts, we will see that we are manifesting what we are thinking about. Even when it’s hard to switch to the positive because the reality in front of us is so strong, we’ve got to remember we are more than that.

So, let us keep veering gently back to what we do want, not what we don’t want.
Let us spend some amount of time in Nature every day that we can, even if it’s just meditating with a plant and letting the birds, animals, and insects teach us by observing them carefully, without preconceived notions of what they are capable of.
Finally, let us let ourselves be merciful to ourselves and in our life situations.

Even though it’s a bit lengthy, I’m including my poem, How To Love Ourselves, Part II from my book, The Path of Love; A Way to Heal (on Amazon books), because it reiterates much of the above.

HOW TO LOVE OURSELVES
Part II

How do we find the love that
defines us and comprises all life?
How do we learn to do that?
Our response will have many facets
depending on who we are

Exploring our creativity
Expressing ourselves in art form
Finding ways to act differently
so that we stop doing the things
causing us suffering and hardship

Giving ourselves a big hug
now and then is a good start
I knew someone who’d kiss
his own hand as he practiced
giving himself love and approval

It’s a real challenge
to love our bodies when
we’re in the midst of illness
but that’s when our soul-self needs
to help our bodies feel wellness

We can also make lists
of what we love to do,
being sure to follow up
by scheduling them in,
like we schedule work

Being alone can contribute
to knowing ourselves deeply
if we anchor deep down within
Accepting that we are the ones
we’ll be with for eternity

Or keeping our hearts open
so that we can enjoy
the love that comes our way
whenever it does, from
a lover, a mate, a friend, or pet

And when it doesn’t come
or isn’t timely,
we still have ourselves
to love us, plus
the Love that is in everything

the Trees, Plants, and Flowers
Mammals, Birds, and Insects
Amphibians, Fish, and Reptiles
Even those without a backbone
are there because of Love

The Elements
Air, Water, Earth, and Fire
are made of Love

Air lets us breathe
Air soothes us with soft breezes
Fire keeps us warm; the sun makes things grow
Water is the cleanser and refresher
And Earth – Earth is our foundation – our home

Connecting with Nature everyday
No matter how long or short a time
we can devote to it
reminds us who we are
in the Macrocosm

If going outside is not possible
or we’re not in a natural environment,
holding a leaf or the stem
of an indoor plant
brings nature indoors

And, giving of ourselves
is an interesting thing
The more we give to others
the more we seem to love ourselves
Time spent giving is a gift for everyone

So, why is it that
the hardest thing of all
is to embrace ourselves
instead of taking inventory
of all our shortcomings?

Let’s extend unbound acceptance
to ourselves
for we are inherently good
The more we’re willing to accept that
the more we manifest goodness

Let us take as our template
of how to love ourselves,
the way we love our children
no matter who they’re
growing up to be

Wouldn’t we do anything for them?
Accept them as they are
Forgive them their mistakes
Encourage them to develop
their talents and abilities?

Create an environment
where they flourish
Make them smile and laugh
as often as we can – inventing
new ways to delight them?

Pick them up when they fail
and hold them in our arms
Help them gently refocus,
kindly and compassionately
on what’s important in life?

Celebrate their successes
Rejoice when they thrive
Support their decisions
when they decide what
to do with their lives?

Can we not do as much
for ourselves?
Being kind to ourselves
is the best way to transform
ourselves into what we aspire to be

Happy Equinox Deer Hearts,
